[w3m-dev-en 00271] compact display of unordered lists

    Hi all,

    what's the proper way to display unordered lists (<ul>)?

    Lynx shows them in a very compact style, e.g.

      * thread 1
        o thread 1.1
          + thread 1.1.1
        o thread 1.2
      * thread 2

    w3m displays this with plenty of empty spaces in between. I'm not sure,
    which one is the correct behavior, but I'd prefer the lynx style.

    Check e.g. http://f7.parsimony.net/forum8712/ with those browsers.

    Is there an option to use the compact display? I checked whether the HMTL3.2
    option <ul compact> would show better results, but unfortunately there's no
    improvement.
