[w3m-dev-en 00194] FTP login problems

Hello list,

I'm having a problem with an ftp url. When I try to follow an ftp link
w3m (0.1.10) seems to wait forever after

'Sending FTP password to remote server.'

The only way out is pressing ^C repeatedly and w3m gives:

'Can't load ftp://ftp.foo.bar/pub/'

I've searched the archives but found nothing to hint the cause of my
problem. Can someone help me because it is annoying to have to resort to
lynx for an ftp download.
